I – Introduction
This document contains important LEGAL INFORMATION on the use of Natura Campus, an initiative of Natura Cosméticos S.A. The purpose is to stimulate the dissemination of contents about sustainability and about the network of people involved with the Natura brand, in a collaborative way.
II – Definitions
The service provided on this site is for those over 18 years of age, or minors with parental or guardian consent. It is provided without any obligation or performance commitment. Recognizing the worldwide reach of the Internet, the USER agrees to comply with any legislation where he/she is situated, and where there is Internet USER conduct regulations, or on acceptable contents, as well as the laws in force at the head office of the company responsible for the community, in this case, Brazil.

Portal: designated for the address http://naturacampus.com.br, Natura’s responsibility website, a company registered with the CNPJ/MF under No. 71.673.990/0001-77, with its head office in Brazil, in the city of Itapecerica da Serra, state of São Paulo, Rodovia Régis Bittencourt, s/n, Km. 293, Potuverá, CEP 06882-700, where notices, summonses or citations should be directed, and only valid with the receipt notice.
Content: Any and all information accessible as part of, or through the Portal (data, texts, software, music, movies or other audio, photographs and other images, videos, or any information related to the profile).
III – Information
The site http://naturacampus.com.br seeks to ensure, as far as possible, that the information provided is accurate, complete, current and that its use has no interruptions or errors. The use of this content, including all information available on the Portal or accessed through it, as well as any interpretation thereof or insertion in other contexts, is the sole responsibility of the USER. The information contained in this site may be updated or modified from time to time. They should therefore not be interpreted as being definitive. NATURA also reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the Portal, with or without prior notice, without being liable for such act. NATURA reserves the right to refuse service to any person, at any time, and without the need to indicate any reason. In order to continuously improve, unilaterally, NATURA may modify or revise the terms of the present term, binding the USER to all changes made. By browsing this site, the USER agrees to be guided by the Terms and Conditions of Use that are in force on the date and, therefore, must verify them previously each time you visit the Portal.

Through the services and functionalities provided by the site http://naturacampus.com.br, the USER can insert an image on his/her profile, publish comments with texts, images and videos. When creating a login profile, Natura Campus will dispose over the permission profile at its discretion. Only the blog administrators of a group can start a new discussion in certain areas of the Portal. In view of the impossibility of exercising prior monitoring of the contents posted by its users, NATURA is not responsible for such contents, for the communication between the USERS of this service channel (whether written, photo, video or otherwise) nor for their conduct, and in the case of violation of the rights of any member of the group or of third parties, the responsibility will be exclusively on the individual who adopted the conduct incompatible with these Terms or with the laws in force. NATURA does not support, represent, warrant or endorse any communications published on the Portal by the USERS as true, accurate or reliable, nor does it endorse the content of any opinions expressed or transmitted by them.
Likewise, NATURA is not responsible for third-party websites, as well as the content associated with or in them, nor does it support or is responsible for any content made available to them. The presence of links to other sites does not imply any partnership, relationship, supervision, complicity or solidarity of NATURA towrds these sites and their contents.
VI – Content submission
The contents are the sole responsibility of those who created them. NATURA reserves the right to refuse acceptance, publication, disclosure or transmission of any content in its sole discretion. By submitting content produced by the USER, he/she grants a free, non-exclusive, non-revocable, global and perpetual license to Natura, to the site http://naturacampus.com.br and its licensors, to disclose, display and market such content freely, with any third party and for any purpose, including editing, translation, publication and other, in traditional media (such as print media and TV), electronic environments and/or any media capable of setting information. The USER is aware that content submitted to Natura Campus may be downloaded without protection and/or may be retransmitted to third parties via email, MSN or otherwise. The USER agrees that, in accordance with the Brazilian law, the ideas made available in any of the services, functionalities or spaces available in the Portal, will not be subject to protection in the field of intellectual property, thus becoming public and free of any expectation of right or profit by the USER, and may be used by NATURA, or any other USER who has access to it, without any payment to the USER. Thus, once an idea is submitted to the Portal, it will instantly be subject to the loss of the “novelty” characteristic, which is why only ideas considered as passive posting should be posted on the site, which the USER is not prevented from divulging as a result of confidentiality agreements, or by virtue of other obligations of the same nature. The USER expressly declares that the content provided does not infringe intellectual property rights, image rights, among others, being the sole and exclusive individual responsible for the content delivered to the Natura Campus site, declaring that he/she is aware of any one appearing on the content delivered for use of his/her image, voice, name, privacy and other personality rights and included all the credits necessary to preserve the moral rights of the copyright holders. The USER is committed not to propagate or spread content that: 1. Instigates, threatens, offends, abhors the image, invades privacy or damages other USERS or third parties; 2. Has the purpose of obtaining illegal access to the database of the Natura Campus site, and/or third parties; 3. Alters and/or copies files or obtains third-party passwords and data without prior authorization; 4. Contains unlawful material; 5. Violates the law, morality, good customs, norms of copyright and/or industrial property, rights to honor, privacy, image, personal and family intimacy, with the USER committing to observe the ethical and moral standards and the national and international laws applicable to the subject. 6. Encourages the practice of discriminatory acts, whether on the basis of gender, race, religion, beliefs, age or any other condition; 7. Carries, stimulates or enables access to illegal, violent, pornographic messages, products or services; 8. Has the purpose of marketing, advertising or exchanging any kind of product or service, without prior written authorization of NATURA, under penalty of immediate removal from the site. 9. Encourages or induces practices that are dangerous, risky or harmful to health and psychological wellbeing; 10. Is false, ambiguous, inaccurate, exaggerated or extemporaneous in a way that may mislead about the subject or the intentions or purposes of the USERS; 9. Violates the confidentiality of communications; 11. constitutes illicit, misleading or disloyal advertising; 12. Incorporates viruses, spam or other physical or electronic elements that may damage or prevent the normal operation of the network, system or computer equipment (hardware and software) from third parties or that could damage the electronic documents and files stored in the computer equipments.
VII – Removal of improper content and report of use
NATURA will use its best efforts to promote any internal investigation aiming at the removal of contents, provided there is request on the part of the injured party by presenting the reasons and indications that certain content violates the laws, the Terms and Conditions of Use of the Site and/or the Conviviality Guide. If there is sufficient evidence that a certain content violates the provisions mentioned above, NATURA may, at its discretion, without any warning or motivation to the USER, remove the abusive content or suspend the account of the infringing USER. NATURA will provide on its pages a specific channel for the treatment of cases of abuse, through the link “report abuse”. In order for the abuse notice to be considered valid, the USER must specify the following data, whenever applicable: 1. Specification of the alleged illegal activity occurring on the site, and in particular, in the case of alleged copyright infringement, content protected and allegedly infringed; 2. Facts or circumstances that reveal the unlawful nature of such activity. The complainant’s name and email address will be sent to the site’s moderators.
VIII – Intellectual Property
The contents of the Natura Campus screens, as well as the programs, databases, networks and files that allow the USER to access and use his/her account, are owned by Natura and are protected by the international laws and treaties of copyright, industrial property and competition. By accessing the Portal, the USER declares that it will respect all intellectual property rights of the Natura Campus site, as well as all rights related to the work of third parties that may be, or have been in any way available on the site. Simple access to the site does not confer to the USER any right to use distinctive signs, patents, literary or artistic work, music or any other protected intellectual creation that is or has been made available on the site. It is allowed to create only a temporary file or print of the contents offered by the Natura Campus site for private use, being prohibited its use for commercial, advertising or any other purposes that contradict the reality for which it was designed, as defined in this Term. Thus, the reproduction, distribution and dissemination, in whole or in part, of the texts, figures, graphics and other protected intellectual works that make up the portal without Natura Campus’ authorization, in a prior, expressed, personal, non-transferable and specific character for each use. It is also prohibited to create derivative works that are illegal, defamatory, obscene or immoral, that may violate morality and good customs, or use of material that breaches the honor, good name or respectability of Natura or third parties, under penalty of current legislation. The USER assumes all civil and/or criminal responsibility for the improper use of the information, texts, graphics, trademarks, works, and any and all intellectual or industrial property rights of this site. Any use not contemplated in this authorization will be considered as an infringement of copyright and will be subject to the penalties provided by Law 9.610 / 98.
IX – User responsibility
It is the sole responsibility of the USER: 1. To provide his/her own access to the Internet and pay any service fees charged by third parties with respect to such access; 2. To provide his/her own access to an address for sending electronic messages and pay any service fees charged by third parties with respect to such access; 3. To provide all necessary equipment to get internet connection, including, but not limited to, a computer and a modem; 4. To register on the site, and be responsible for the correctness and veracity of the data provided, as well as for keeping his/her password for access; 5. To keep his/her computer environment safe, with the use of available tools like antivirus and firewall, among others, updated, in order to contribute to the prevention of electronic risks on the side of the USER; 6. The use of material and/or content that may infringe the rights of third parties; 7. Content provided by Natura Campus, ensuring that it does not violate any rights of third parties. The USER agrees with the obligation to indemnify Natura in a regressive action for any damages caused, as a result of actions that involve acts of the USER, including those in Article 70, III, of the Code of Civil Procedure.
X – Lliability Disclaimer
As a result of operational issues and outsourcing of services, the website and services are subject to possible problems of interruption, technical failure, and/or unavailability of temporary operation. Where reasonably possible, NATURA will first advise of interruptions of operations within the site and services to its USERS. NATURA disclaims any liability for damages and losses of any nature that may arise from the lack of availability or continuity of the operation of the site. Likewise, NATURA shall not be liable for any damage, detriment or loss of the USER’S equipment caused by system, server or connection failures arising from third-party conduct, including actions of malicious software such as viruses, etc. Nor is it liable in any way for damages to the equipment or connection of the USER as a result of access, use or navigation on the site, as well as the transfer of data, files, images, texts, audios or videos contained therein. NATURA IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES CAUSED BY CRIMES OF ABUSE, SLANDER, DEFAMATION, FRAUD AND OTHER, COMMITtED BY OR FROM THEIR USERS. IN ADDITION, NATURA IS NOT LIABLE FOR LOSSES OR DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE IRREGULAR USE OF THE CONTENT OR SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH THIS SITE, OR FOR THE INADEQUATE USE OF THE RESOURCES OF THIS SITE BY THE USER. Though Natura uses its best efforts in the security of its systems, considering the vulnerability and constant advancement of invasion technology, IT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ACTS OF THIRD PARTIES WHICH SUCCESSFULLY COLLECT OR USE, BY ANY MEANS, DATA, AND INFORMATION AVAILABLE THROUGH THE USER on the Portal.
XI – General provisions
The tolerance for any non-compliance with any of the clauses and conditions shall not constitute a novation of the obligations set forth herein and shall not prevent or inhibit the enforceability thereof at any time. The present Term and Conditions of Use constitutes an integral agreement between the parties, prevailing over any other agreement signed previously. These Terms and Conditions of Use are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Its text should be interpreted in the Portuguese language. USERS of the Portal are liable to the Central Forum of the Capital District of the State of São Paulo.
