From June 13 to 15, the Brazilian Congress of Cosmetology took place, the most scientifically relevant congress in the field of cosmetology for Latin America, which in its 35th edition brought together the main research promoters in the country, including finished product industries, services, ingredients, and academia, in a 3-day journey of technical-scientific presentations, lectures, and debates in São Paulo/SP.
The Natura participated in all fronts of the congress, both in organization and in lectures and scientific work. Silas Arandas, Scientific Manager, was part of the Organizing Committee of the congress, serving as General Coordinator of the event. Patrícia Renovato Tobo, Scientific Manager, led the pillar of “Well-being, neuroscience, and consumer contact.” Priscila Carollo Moncayo Moncayo, Product Development Manager, was a speaker in this pillar, with the theme “Main changes in skin parameters of women of different age groups and cosmetic interventions using active ingredients from Brazilian biodiversity.” Pedro Soldati, Product Development Coordinator, won the award for the oral presentation titled “Clinical and biological characteristics of women's skin during climacteric: effects and treatment using a cosmetic formulation containing active ingredients from Brazilian biodiversity.”
