The Qlicar Innovation is a relationship program focused on understanding, monitoring, and improving the contribution to Innovation from Natura's partner network. Through it, the company is able to strengthen relationships, work on joint development relations, and map partners with the greatest potential to contribute to new projects.
In this 2020 cycle of Qlicar, the project in partnership with USP competed with a wide network of innovation partners, showcasing the value of the connections made through Natura Campus, and was awarded in the Innovation category. At USP, it was led by Professor Silvya Stuchi Maria Engler and at Natura by Juliana Lago along with the Skin and Hair Sciences team.
Between the years 2018 - 2020, the project developed a technology that enabled the application of an alternative method for animal testing, which was implemented and is currently in use within the development process of new Natura products.
