Natura was awarded on 6/10 as one of the most innovative companies in the country during the 8th National Congress on Industry Innovation, held by the National Confederation of Industry (CNI) and the Brazilian Service of Support for Micro and Small Enterprises (Sebrae).
In total, more than 1,700 companies were evaluated. The award ceremony was attended by the Director of Product Innovation, Daniel Gonzaga, and the Director of Expanded Innovation at Natura, Roseli Mello. This is the fifth consecutive time the company has appeared on the podium, receiving recognition for this milestone. Among the categories in which Natura has been awarded are Technological Innovation (2013) and Organizational Innovation (2017).
In addition to the award ceremony, Natura participated in the discussion panel "Innovative Women," with Josie Romero, Vice President of Operations and Logistics. The Director of Innovation and Products, Daniel Gonzaga, was also a panelist in the talk show about the bioeconomy agenda in Brazil.
The company was a champion in the Process Innovation category, which recognizes innovative practices in the implementation of how companies create, produce, and distribute their products and services. This includes methods to certify the safety and effectiveness of embedded technologies, advancements in Industry 4.0, and the use of 3D printers. Among the advancements, the achievements of Cruelty Free International and PETA certifications stand out, for example.
"The awards in various categories over the years demonstrate that Natura's decision to innovate is broad and consistent, covering product, process, organization, and business behavior fronts. Combining biodiversity with world-class science alongside strong partnerships with the external ecosystem in all areas has brought us very relevant results," says Daniel Gonzaga.
