Maker Innovation is Here to Stay

With the evolution of rapid prototyping technologies, such as 3D printers, and electronic platforms, many people have found the necessary tools to create and fix their own objects. In Maker culture, the idea is to create with one's own hands, and the spaces dedicated to this theme allow for a lot of interaction and collaboration among people, which ultimately promotes innovation.

What’s interesting is that while in large companies, rigor often prevails, in MakerSpaces and FabLabs, people tend to prototype very quickly, a culture that, when transferred into a corporation, opens up new pathways for projects.

And many corporations are already experimenting. In this movement, the traditional stages within the innovation process - researching, writing a project, and waiting for the idea to be finalized before making the prototype - cease to exist. The idea is to start from the prototype, allowing for various adjustments throughout the process, without needing to reach the end to discover the result, which also ensures resource savings.
