The Amazonas State Research Support Foundation (FAPEAM) is accepting applications for the Sinapse da Inovação Program. Applications will be open until June 11.
The “Sinapse da Inovação” is developed in partnership with the Foundation Centers of Reference in Innovative Technologies (Certi), from Santa Catarina, and aims to encourage entrepreneurship with financial resources, training, and support so that entrepreneurs can bring their ideas to life and turn them into reality.
According to the announcement, in this first edition, 40 companies will be benefited with resources amounting to two million reais.
Each benefited company will receive 50 thousand reais in economic subsidy and will have up to one year to develop the product.
To participate, interested parties must present projects that incorporate new technologies relevant to the State of Amazonas in the areas of Electronics, Information and Communication Technology, Health and Well-being, Biotechnology, Energy, Oil and Gas, Logistics, Tourism, and others.
The evaluation and selection of proposals will be carried out in three phases, conducted by a technical team from the Certi Foundation. The results of each phase will be published on the FAPEAM website www.fapeam.am.gov.br and on the program website sinapsedainovacao.com.br/am.
The projects are scheduled to start on December 14, 2015, and end on April 30, 2016.
