What do you think of when we talk about cleansing processes for the body and hair? Besides cleansing, these processes also awaken sensations of well-being and bring great potential for innovation.
In the past, in addition to water, materials such as clays, oils, and even ashes made up the cleansing rituals of various civilizations. Today, the options for products that constitute our personal hygiene are much more diversified, but the processes associated with this ritual remain quite similar to the ancient ones. Therefore, we launched the Challenge Cleaning Technologies for Personal Care, to think about new cleansing systems that revolutionize personal care rituals and enhance consumer well-being.
How to participate in the Challenge?
You must access the Challenge website, read the announcement, and fill out the form with your idea by November 25. Teams that register their proposal by October 31, will be able to participate in a moment of interaction with Natura specialists via the virtual platform, between November 3 and 7, for comments and insights on the submitted idea. Based on the information received, participants will have the opportunity to further develop their ideas until the final submission deadline.
Proposals that present cleansing solutions, as well as those that, in addition to cleansing, also prevent the accumulation of dirt, will be accepted. Both individuals and research institutes or companies can participate in the Challenge.
You can submit ideas at any stage of development, from concepts to technologies in the final production phase or already developed.
We are looking for projects that meet the following requirements:
- Have potential for application for human use (safety testing is desirable);
- Present innovative technical solutions and usage concepts;
- Have low environmental impact;
- Do not use surfactants as part of the system;
- Do not contain ingredients tested on animals;
- Do not use raw materials and/or processes that are toxic or harmful for human use.
Selection of ideas
The five best proposals will participate in a prototyping stage that may last up to six weeks. The announcement of the finalists will be made on December 15. Natura will provide the necessary structure for the teams to put their projects into practice and explore their potentials, and the best prototypes will be awarded! Natura employees and consumers will participate in this stage of the Challenge to enrich the development of the projects. In this way, we aim to innovate more quickly and collaboratively!
If you don't have an idea yet, get inspired by the content on our Blog. You can also participate in our Hangouts and Workshops to better understand how the Challenge works.
