For the closing of the Natura Campus Media Lab Hackathon, we have prepared a surprise: Inspire, Create, Iterate, Innovate. The Conference will be held in conjunction with IDEO - one of the most recognized companies in design innovation and product development - and the MIT Media Lab - one of the world's reference centers for innovation, design, science, and technology.
Unprecedented in the country, the event will be transmitted live over the internet, and will debate how innovation and technology will transform our lives and our consumer experiences. Meet the invited experts to present their ideas on the subject:
- Joi Ito: Director of the MIT Media Lab and member of the Board of Sony, NY Times, and Knight Foundation, in addition to participating in the creation of several technology companies. He was also an angel investor for Twitter, Last FM, Kickstarter, among others.
- Ari Adler: IDEO Director who facilitated design innovation workshops in the United States, Europe, and Latin America. Ari also taught the course Designing Things For Human at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
- Heloisa Neves: Director of the "Fab Lab Brasil Network," and creator of We Fab (a spin-off of Garagem Fab Lab for the development of maker, collaborative, and open strategies). Heloisa is also a professor at Insper, where she coordinates the I - FAB LAB.
- Michael Bove: Lead researcher for the object-based media group at the MIT Media Lab, which develops new interface technologies capable of changing our daily lives.
- Joseph Paradiso: Lead researcher for the Responsive Environments group at the MIT Media Lab. The group explores how the network of sensors can expand human experience, interaction, and perception.
- Marcelo Coelho: Artist and designer who seeks to challenge our perception of the physical world through media and technology.
Moderated by: Ronaldo Lemos: Director of the Institute for Technology & Society of Rio de Janeiro, Partner at PNM Advogados Office, and Liaison Officer of the MIT Media Lab in Brazil.
