We believe that relationships and collaboration are the best way to seek the new, generate, and evolve new concepts and technologies. By working on innovation in a network, we can create shared value among all partners, enhancing the potential of the innovation ecosystem.
In 2012, we visited 29 Science Institutions, had the opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss potential projects, and learn more from the Brazilian scientific community. In December, for 3 days, we were able to interact and build with the 12 finalists of the Amazon Call for Projects Natura Campus proposals to be presented to the Technical Executive Board, the final evaluation stage of the mentioned Call. Everyone dedicated themselves and got involved to co-construct the opportunities that best reflected the shared vision of the participants. Over two days, we talked and learned about entrepreneurship, new ways of presenting and organizing ideas and concepts. Thus, in addition to the approval of 6 projects, we also got to know the finalists better and learned more about how to co-construct and work in a network. We learned that by working in a network, we maximize opportunities for interaction and enhance the benefits for all involved!
With the goal of continuing to evolve and learn the best practices for working in a network, we are planning several actions for 2013. In March, we will have the coaching and immersion phase of Natura and the Technical Executive Board of the Science, Technology, and Innovation Call for Projects Natura Campus 2012. The finalists will also be announced shortly thereafter. Throughout the year, new Natura Campus challenges will be launched and different scientific content will be presented and debated on our blogs. We are preparing new content and different ways to bring the scientific community and Natura closer together.
