Natura Chronos Derma 80+ was recognized at the prestigious Wellness & Longevity Choice Awards 2025, an award that highlights innovative products in the fields of beauty and health. This international recognition reaffirms Natura's commitment to creating effective solutions for skin care, keeping up with the natural changes that occur throughout life. In this edition, we were awarded in the skin health and longevity category, an important milestone for the advancement of dermocosmetics aimed at mature skin.
With the increase in life expectancy – the population over 80 years old is expected to triple by 2050, according to the UN – understanding the changes in the skin throughout aging becomes essential. From this age, significant changes occur, such as skin inflammation, loss of essential lipids, and fragility of the skin barrier, making dermatological care even more necessary.
To address these needs, Natura Chronos Derma 80+ was born from an exclusive study with women aged 80+, analyzing lipid composition, microbiota, and clinical parameters of the skin through omics technologies, as well as clinical parameters such as pH, hydration, and barrier function.
“Based on the results, we developed a new dermocosmetic product, with an innovative formulation containing bioactives from Brazilian and Amazonian nature, which act on skin repair,” says Priscila Moncayo, product development manager at Natura.
