Between March 13 and 14, the Global Summit 2025 took place in Paris, an event organized by Hello Tomorrow recognized as the leading global meeting focused on Deep Techs, bringing together startup founders, investors, business leaders, and government representatives from various countries to foster connections and showcase cutting-edge technological innovations. The meeting highlighted trends and advancements in strategic areas, reinforcing the role of innovation in building a sustainable and competitive future.
Natura was represented by Pâmela Maiuolo, Senior Manager of Open Innovation and Fostering, and Rômulo Zamberlan, Director of Advanced Research and Open Innovation. Natura's participation in the event was driven by the pursuit of innovation and opportunities for international collaboration, as well as solutions to our challenges, especially regarding commitments to sustainability and regeneration.
Natura believes in the power of open innovation as a driver of transformation, and through the Natura Campus program, created in 2006, it connects to the external ecosystem — including ICTs, companies, and startups — with the purpose of boosting processes and accelerating innovation.
Originally focused on engaging with the academic and scientific community, the program began to emphasize, starting in 2021, the search for Deep Techs and Life Sciences, reinforcing the relevance of science as a vector for the development of innovative solutions.
A Brazilian delegation, organized by Wylinka and Caos Focado, and sponsored by FINEP and CNI, worked to strengthen the national presence at the event, as well as to seek support for the development of Brazilian deep techs and inspiration for strengthening the national deep tech ecosystem, reinforcing the commitment of these institutions to technological advancement and support for innovation in Brazil.
In addition to participating in the Global Summit, on April 2, a meeting took place at Cubo Itaú to discuss the main insights gained from the event. During the meeting, the importance of collaboration among companies, startups, and innovation institutions was highlighted to enhance the development of new technologies and accelerate their implementation in the market.
Among the topics discussed, one of the most relevant was the need for innovative solutions to emerging challenges, such as climate change. The event reinforced the urgency of investments and strategic partnerships that enable the advancement of sustainable technologies capable of generating positive impacts for society and the environment.
