With the theme "Connecting Senses and Minds," the 16th Pangborn Sensory Sciences Symposium, one of the most prestigious events in the field, took place from August 17 to 21 in Philadelphia, USA. Natura had the honor of participating, presenting innovations from our research on the global stage, which aim to understand consumer preferences and translate them into products.
With great pride, our Sensory, Efficacy, and Well-Being team was present, represented by Margareth Stief. The researcher presented two posters that highlighted the excellence of Natura's research on the international scene.
One of the studies presented addressed the perception of cosmetics developed for the 80+ audience. The research revealed that participants who tested the products at home had a positive evaluation, highlighting softness, performance, and the results achieved. This study reinforces our view that, more than just creating products for longevity, it is essential to develop solutions that promote well-being and acceptability for this age group, valuing their sensory experiences.
The second poster explored the purchase intention of fragrances, revealing that the choice of a perfume goes beyond functional benefits. The research showed that both men and women are motivated to choose a fragrance for its ability to generate well-being and increase self-confidence. This insight inspires us to continue creating products that not only perform but also nurture the connection between scent and emotion.
Natura's participation in Pangborn 2025 highlights our commitment to research and the development of products that place people at the center, aligning science, well-being, and innovation.
